it was a Friday … and it was Good”

So what happened…………………..

The morning of the Good Friday Event 2015 kicked off with some great worship courtesy of the worship band, and prepared lads for Tim’s message about Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, and our need to respond to that.  After a period of prayer, we gobbled down some tasty lunch and headed up to St Martha’s.

After some classic games on the sand hill and of course the infamous 1, 2, 3, Arnie!, we headed into the woodland, where for the following hour, armies of Dwarves and Elves could be found bundling and shouting as they piled over the treasure and had their lifeblood ripped from pinned-down wrists, before sprinting to deposit their much coveted treasure in their team’s drop-zone.

This hugely enjoyable afternoon was capped off with an epic game involving battling through extremely dense rhododendron bushes. Everyone returned to the USG Hall in high spirits after a great afternoon of fun, to follow a morning of fantastic news.
