Reaching young people for Jesus Christ, engaging them in effective Christian living.

From 1910 to 2007, Urban Saints Guildford was known as Guildford Crusaders.

Welcome to the new Urban Saints Guildford website!

The about page gives some background to the group and also to the much larger Urban Saints national organisation. Be sure to visit the events page to look at the awesome activities coming up, and browse the photo gallery to see the great fun that's been had on our previous outings, activities, camps and residentials... fancy being part of this?

In addition to our weekly activities (Friday & Sunday - see events) we run a huge number of different events throughout the year; the highlight being our residential and camping holidays. Each year we run over 5 weekend residentials, 2 camps and over 25 activities and day trips! You name it, we run it!

Thumbs up!

Amidst all the fun, there's the opportunity to discover more about the Bible and how it's relevant to today. We provide fun, high quality and engaging learning experiences. By getting to know the leaders and some of the other lads, you'll see what living as a Christian is really about.

You're guaranteed to make some amazing friends, and what's more - it's free to join! We're a charitable organisation and rely totally on donations to run the group. We do charge for residentials, camps and some outings, but aim to keep the costs low to make it available to everyone.

What makes us distinctive?

Urban Saints Guildford (formerly known as Guildford Crusaders) has been running for over 99 years; introducing young people to the claims of Jesus Christ in a fun, energetic and friendly environment. We meet 52 weeks a year, own a purpose built hall on Stoke Park - in an absolutely fantastic location - and have a talented team of over 30 volunteer leaders who are committed to the work of the group. USG is far more than just a youth group... come along and see for yourself!

How do I join?

Serious fun with a laser gun!

If you're a lad (sorry, no girls!) and in school years 5 to 13 (aged 9 to 18) and think you might like to be part of the group, you can just simply turn up to one of our weekly events and try it out. We suggest starting with our Friday night activity. We would encourage you to make contact with one of our leaders (see contacts) beforehand so we can look out for you when you arrive. If you fancy coming along to one of our other activities then get in touch with us to get the full details. You can download a form for regular attendance here.
