This event is more for the parents. If sending your son away for either of the camps is appealing, but you'd like to find out more information first, come and hear the leaders talk about what happens, hear some lads' first-hand accounts, and discuss with a leader your specific questions.

An action packed day where we spend the morning at the hall finding out what exactly Good Friday means, then we travel up to St. Martha's Hill for some eagerly anticipated wide games!

ReBuild: Mexico 2010

During Easter 8 lads and 4 leaders are off to Mexico to help build house for the poor. Look out for opportunities to support their fundraising in the run-up to this event and more information can be found at urbansaints.org/rebuild.

Parents Cheese & Wine Evening

An event just for the parents - you are warmly welcomed to come along for a rather relaxed evening with cheese, wine, and a chance to get to know those leaders who you entrust your lads to every Friday night! It'll also be a great opportunity to hear about our recent Mexico project and other goings on in the life of USG.

Ready4Action

Clearing rubbish, tidying gardens and painting houses may not be a typical USG event but this one is a great way to serve those who are less fortunate by helping them practically. This is run by the Matrix Trust and is always a lot of fun and great way to spend the day. The question is... are you ready?

Whit Camp 2010

Our first camp of 2010 promises to be as brilliant as ever. We'll spend the weekend at Waverley Woods where we'll camp, play messy games, and enjoy fellowship together.

Car Wash Community Project

For this centenary event we will serve the local community by washing cars and also make some noise about what Urban Saints Guildford does.

Raft racing on the river

Guildford Lions Raft Race

Once more Guildford Lions will be organising their Annual Charity Raft Race on the River Wey and we will be joining them! The race goes from Millmead in the centre of Guildford to the Waterside Centre 4km downstream. There will be a bar and BBQ to refresh tired rafters and their supporters afterwards.

Summer Camp 2010

This year we hit Polzeath in Cornwall for our annual two-week camp. This is one of our favourite campsites, right by the beach. It's going to be as fantastic as ever as we engage with God, the countryside, and dozens of awesome activities.

USG will take over the Lido again for the evening! This gives us a chance to relive some of those great memories from camp and to kick off the start of a new term with a splash.

Israel 2010

Leaders, Supporters, and Old Boys are off to Israel for an 8 day pilgrimage. The trip is organised by ITS Travel and an action packed itinerary will take the group to key places such as Jerusalem and Mount Zion.

Please bear in mind that the closing date for applications is 22nd February.

Thanksgiving Service

To wrap-up celebrations we're holding a Thanksgiving Service to reflect on the past 100 years of the organisation, and to recognize God's faithfulness and provision to the group during this time.
